Google has announced that pre-orders for Pixel 10a in India will begin on February 18 via Flipkart. The upcoming smartphone is expected to offer upgraded performance, improved cameras, and Google’s signature AI features at a competitive price point. The handset will also be sold at the company’s official online store.

Pixel 10a Pre-orders

Google has confirmed that its upcoming Pixel 10a smartphone will be available for pre-order in India from February 18. This development follows earlier announcements from Google suggesting that the device would arrive in the third week of February. “Sign up by 13 Feb, 1:29PM IST and we’ll email your offer on the day pre-order begins,” mentioned a Google blog.

Aside from the pre-order date, Google provided no additional details about the phone’s features. The following are what multiple leaks about the upcoming model’s specifications are saying.

Google Pixel 10a: Expected Specifications

Google Pixel 10a comes with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display. The screen has an advanced 120Hz refresh rate. Google Pixel 10a has a Google Tensor G5 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Users can expect more responsive performance and sufficient space for apps and media.

The upcoming model is set to integrate a dual rear camera setup: a 48 MP main sensor and a 13 MP ultrawide shooter, along with a 13 MP front camera. Its 5,100 mAh battery promises solid performance throughout the day. The Pixel 10a is also expected to launch with Android 16 and seven years of software updates.

Pixel 10a Design, Build and Ergonomics

Teasers and recent leaks indicate that the Pixel 10a will retain a design similar to its predecessor. The phone appears to feature a flat metal frame and Google’s signature pill-shaped rear camera module housing two sensors.

The power and volume buttons are positioned along the right edge. The front is expected to include a hole-punch cut-out for the selfie camera. The leaks also suggest color options in blue, green, red and black.

Expected Price of Google Pixel 10a in India

Globally, the 128GB storage variant is rumoured to be priced at $499, which roughly converts to Rs. 44,000. This model can be a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment. The company is expected to share official specifications, pricing and launch offers in the coming days.

Pixel 10a vs Pixel 9a: Key Differences Explained

The newest model brings only modest changes rather than a major overhaul. Core performance and hardware remain consistent between the two generations. The Pixel 10a will feature a flush-mounted rear camera module, which offers a sleeker aesthetic than the 9a.

Rumors also suggest slightly higher display brightness in this design. Some analysts are even viewing the Pixel 10a as more of an incremental refresh than a full step up from the Pixel 9a.
