Just a day before its global launch, the Google Pixel 10 series is making headlines for its possible price hike. According to new leaks, Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL may be pricier than the previous year’s devices.

It embarks on a path that could push Google’s aggressive plans for the already saturated premium smartphone market. The launch is scheduled for August 20.

How Expensive Will the Google Pixel 10 Series Be?

Android Authority estimates the Pixel 10’s price at €899 (nearly Rs 91,450). The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to cost €1,099 (approximately Rs 1,11,800), and the Pixel 10 Pro XL may cost €1,299 (almost Rs 1,32,100).

In comparison, the Pixel 9 range was released at Rs 79,999 for the basic model, Rs 1,09,999 for the Pro, and Rs 1,24,999 for the Pro XL. The leaked price indicates a definite upward hike, showing Google’s desire to directly compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S25 range and Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 16 series.

What are the Upgrade Features in Google Pixel 10?

The vanilla Google Pixel 10 will probably have a 6.3-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for a more fluid experience. It might be powered by Google’s in-house Tensor G5 processor at its core, along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The phone runs on a 4,970 mAh battery, while the back camera setup is likely to feature a 50MP main lens, 48MP ultra-wide snapper, and an 11MP telephoto lens. The combination indicates Google’s ongoing emphasis on computational photography.

What Sets Google Pixel 10 Pro Apart?

Google Pixel 10 Pro should maintain the same Tensor G5 processor and display size as the standard model, but provide increased RAM and storage options and power user-focused software tuning. Its place in the lineup is that of a balanced flagship, more premium than the Pixel 10 but without the bloat of the XL.

Why is Google Pixel 10 Pro XL a Flagship?

At the pinnacle is Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, which is rumored to come with a 6.8-inch OLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate, the largest of them all. It may pack a 5,200 mAh battery to fuel the larger screen.

Rumors about optics point to a triple-camera system: a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto lens, making the Pro XL Google’s most powerful camera phone ever.

Should Users Wait for the Official Announcement?

For now, all information is unofficial. Pricing, design, and India availability will be confirmed at the August 20 launch event of Google. If rumors are to be believed, the Pixel 10 series will come with a price hike, larger batteries, and the new Tensor G5 chip to redefine Google’s position in the fight for the best flagship smartphone.
