Google rolled out new Gemini tools for small-business owners, positioning the AI assistant as a central hub for marketing, finance, and day-to-day operations. The company announced the update on October 20 and said the features will reach Gemini app users worldwide in the coming days.

The update reflects Google’s effort to make Gemini more useful for entrepreneurs who often switch between separate apps. Instead of switching between design tools, spreadsheets, and business dashboards, owners can manage core tasks through one interface.

A Single Hub for Owners

At the center of the update is a new business landing page inside Gemini. It will let users build their brand, review finances, track customer insights and handle routine work in one place.

Google has also expanded Gemini’s integrations. The assistant can now connect with Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace. It will also work with third-party platforms

  • Adobe

  • Canva

  • Dropbox

  • Shopify

  • Wix

  • Zoho

  • Xero

Experts suggest that it could reduce manual data entry and help owners act faster on customer and sales information. For small firms without dedicated operations teams, that convenience may matter more than advanced AI features.

Marketing Becomes More Consistent

Gemini will also help businesses create marketing material that matches their identity. Owners can upload a website, brand kit, fonts or color palette to define their visual style.

Once the style is set, Gemini can generate on-brand visuals for product launches and marketing campaigns. Google said the system will retain these preferences, so users will not need to upload brand guidelines repeatedly.

Google says the feature is designed to help owners understand their numbers without manually decoding complex data. It could be particularly useful for retailers, service providers and solo entrepreneurs who manage their accounts themselves.

The feature uses Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s latest image-generation model. It is aimed at businesses that need professional-looking assets but cannot afford a designer or agency for every campaign
