A fresh leak tied to Genshin Impact Version 6.6 suggests the developers might be preparing one of the biggest combat shake-ups. Early data points to a brand-new reaction system focused on the Cryo element, something players have been asking for over the years. If this information turns out to be accurate, Version 6.6 could change how teams are built and how players approach damage strategies across the board.
The timing of the leak is just as interesting. The upcoming Snezhnaya arc is widely expected to revolve around Cryo characters and mechanics. Introducing new reactions now would give players time to adjust before that region officially arrives. In other words, this doesn’t feel like a small balance update. It feels like the groundwork for a much bigger shift in combat.

In the first test build of Version 6.6, dataminers spotted a direct reference to a new reaction called Stellar-Conduct inside Diona’s ability kit.
