Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge has become one of the biggest highlights of Flipkart's June Epic Sale. The phone was launched as a premium flagship and at a price many buyers found difficult to justify. Now, things look very different.
The Galaxy model is currently selling at a much lower price than it cost at launch. On top of that, Flipkart is offering exchange bonuses and bank discounts. For some users, those offers can bring the final amount to under Rs. 50,000.
The Galaxy S25 Edge launched in May 2025 with a price of over Rs. 1 lakh. Different variants cost differently. The latest Flipkart sale has brought the price down to around Rs. 60,000, with a discount of around 45% on the models. Buyers can further reduce costs through exchange offers and select bank card discounts.
The phone comes with top-end hardware. It features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB RAM, and a 200MP main camera. Samsung also focused heavily on design, making it one of the slimmest premium phones in its lineup.
Currently, the 12GB and 256GB variants of the model are listed at Rs 59,999, a steep 45% off from the original price of 1,09,999. That’s not all. Buyers can avail of additional discounts, such as ‘No-cost EMI’ and bank offers. Combined, the final price will be somewhere around Rs. 50,000.
The discount can’t really reduce the competition for the Galaxy S25 Edge. Almost all the renowned brands implement a similar strategy after the models become a few months older. On Amazon and Flipkart, iPhone models often get equally attractive discounts.
Similarly, at a similar price range, OnePlus continues to attract buyers with fast performance and clean software. Vivo has built a strong reputation for camera-focused phones, and Xiaomi often packs premium features at lower prices.
Each brand offers something different. Some focus on battery life. Others focus on cameras or charging speed. Samsung's advantage is its overall package. Buyers get a premium design, strong cameras, flagship performance, and long-term software support.

The large discounts generally raise questions about the model's original price. When the Galaxy S25 Edge was launched, people thought Samsung had made it too expensive to be justified. There were several phones offering similar performance for less money.
The current sale price tells a different story. Around the Rs. 60,000 mark, the phone feels far more competitive. The features have stayed the same, but the value has improved. In many ways, the Galaxy S25 Edge may finally be priced where many buyers expected it to be from the beginning.
