8 Indian-Origin Innovators Shine on Forbes 30 Under 30 AI List

The latest 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 list of artificial intelligence has eight young Indian talents focused on emerging technologies, business and research. In areas of hiring platforms, AI safety and sales automation, these emerging players have fundamentally challenged the industry.  

Meet the Innovators:  

1. Surya Midha & Adarsh Hiremath –  The Men Behind Mercor, an Artificial Intelligent Job Portal that Delivers Innovation to Recruiting. Mercor was founded in 2023; since this year, it has managed to collect $32 million in funding and become profitable thanks to the AI that connects demand and supply for employment.  

2. Nikhil Cheerla – Involved in launching Nooks as a virtual office service platform but later converted into an AI self selling tool. Thus, with $70 million in funding to its name, Nooks is reshaping sales effectiveness for optimization .  

3. Nischal Nadhamuni – CTO and cofounder of ‘Klarity’ an advanced Artificial Intelligence solution, which automates the reviewing of data. Founded through Y Combinator and with $90m in venture capital, Klarity performs on large clients such as OpenAI and Cloudflare.  

4. Sneha Revanur – CEO of "Encode Justice", a youth led organization that is advocating for ethical use of artificial intelligence. Her organization advocates for policies on safety of artificial intelligence internationally and has made accomplishments with the support of influential heads of state. 

5. Anand Kannappan – Cofounder of "Patronus AI", addressing AI safety risks. Patronus AI develops tools to assess and mitigate AI model risks, securing $20 million to promote responsible AI use.  

6. Arjun Desai – Cofounder of the AI solutions developing firm, Cartesia that designs AI system to operate offline. What distinguishes Cartesia is its “state space” architecture; therefore, the company is well-positioned to advance AI for remote and disconnected spheres. 

7. Aman Sanger – Cofounder of "Cursor (Anysphere)", an AI update coding tool that is revolutionizing software development. Cursor for now has $75 million having been founded with $400 million as company valuation of how developers code.

These young visionaries are our modern Innovators, the true unsung heroes that have helped AI to progress at the breakneck speed that it has. Nearly all their achievements, from promoting ethical AI to developing innovative solutions and platforms, prove that Indian-origin talent is gaining more influence in the global technology market.
