Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale is about to begin. Ahead of that, on Thursday, the e-commerce platform dropped its biggest offers on multiple items across different sectors. Notably, iPhone prices have touched a record low with Apple iPhone 16 series available at their lowest prices.
iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max are now listed at a drastically low price, which even goes lower with additional bank discounts and credit card offers, making the upcoming Indian festival season joyful for tech enthusiasts and budget-conscious buyers.
The most highlighted offer of Flipkart Big Billion Days season is iPhone 16 base model. iPhone 16 was initially launched in India at Rs. 79,900, but at this point, it’s listed at Rs. 74,900, which will further get bank discounts. With all the offers, users can now purchase the standard model for around Rs. 50,000, a significant drop from the original price.
The next model to feature an equally exciting price drop on Flipkart is the iPhone 16 Pro. 16 Pro was originally launched at Rs. 1,19,900. With a Rs. 5,000 discount, 16 Pro is now listed at Rs. 1,12,900. Furthermore, one can apply bank and exchange offers to reduce the price to around Rs. 70,000.
Similarly, iPhone 16 Pro Max debuted at Rs. 1,44,900, and currently, the Flipkart iPhone offers have lowered its price to Rs. 1,37,900. With an additional price cut using bank offers and exchange of older models, it will be available at nearly Rs. 90,000.
A rare instance of price drops has occurred where Apple’s latest models face such a decline within a year of their initial release. The trend not only reflects the strong demand for the models but also highlights the aggressive push by Apple and Flipkart to maximize sales of the iPhone 16 series during the festive season.

iPhone 16 series has drawn attention, but these aren’t the only iPhone models to face major price cuts. Flipkart has extended the offers to older models as well. iPhone 14 is now available at Rs. 52,990, a steep 11% drop from its original price of Rs. 59,900.
Additional bank and exchange offers will lower the price, making it one of the most affordable iPhone models available. These discount models are designed carefully to increase the appeal of the iPhones among the budget buyers and Apple enthusiasts, who aren’t looking for the latest processor or features in their devices.
The festive sales of Flipkart are a common thing that happens every year before the Diwali season. However, with iPhone 17’s launch, it might be more than just seasonal generosity. iPhone 17 was unveiled on September 9, and within hours, Flipkart deals began. Therefore, the current iPhone deals are probably a strategy by the e-commerce platform to clear its inventory and make space for the new models.
Overall, the sales before the Big Billion Days officially began suggest a calculated market play. On one hand, it will boost the iPhone 16 sales, and on the other, it will create inventory space for the upcoming models.
