Square Enix has officially announced the Final Fantasy 9 Denouement jigsaw puzzle for fans of the classic RPG. The product is now listed on the official Square Enix Store at USD 37.
The puzzle features the game’s original Denouement key visual and contains around 1,000 pieces. Square Enix expects to release it in November 2026, though the company says the date may change.
The announcement arrives during Final Fantasy 9’s 25th anniversary. It gives fans another way to celebrate the 2000 PlayStation role-playing game, which follows Zidane Tribal and Princess Garnet through the fantasy world of Gaia.

The Final Fantasy 9 Denouement puzzle is a 1,000-piece collectible based on the game’s original artwork. Square Enix notes that the final piece count may differ slightly because of the artwork’s aspect ratio and manufacturing process.
Once completed, the puzzle measures approximately 51 by 73.5 centimeters. Its size makes it suitable for framing or displaying on a wall, especially for fans who want a visible tribute to the game.
The listing prices the puzzle at USD 37 and points to a November 2026 release window. Buyers should keep in mind that Square Enix has marked both the piece count and release date as subject to change.

Final Fantasy 9 remains one of the series’ most loved entries, even 25 years after its original release. Its colorful characters, emotional story and memorable soundtrack have helped it stay popular among longtime fans.
The Denouement artwork captures the game’s iconic cast and setting, making it a natural choice for a collectible puzzle. It lets fans revisit the world of Gaia without replaying the entire RPG.
Square Enix has continued to release Final Fantasy 9 merchandise, including figures, artwork and other collectibles. The new puzzle adds to that lineup and gives collectors another piece of the game’s history to display. Fans hoping for a full FF9 remake may still have to wait, but this release keeps the classic adventure in the spotlight.
