Tokyo-listed Eole Inc. bought 1,078 HYPE on July 28 for $66,002, or ¥10.08 million, as it expanded its corporate crypto strategy beyond bitcoin. The company paid an average of $57.15, or ¥9,352, for each token. It plans several more purchases before the end of August. Eole aims to lift its total HYPE allocation to $611,113, equal to ¥100 million.
Eole described the transaction as the first publicly disclosed HYPE purchase by a listed Japanese company. The statement followed its review of corporate filings. HYPE serves as the native token of Hyperliquid, a blockchain network that focuses on on-chain derivatives and trading.
Rather than complete the planned allocation through one transaction, Eole intends to build the position through several purchases. The buying program will continue through August. The phased approach will take the company from its initial ¥10.08 million purchase toward its ¥100 million target.
Eole will hold HYPE alongside bitcoin as a strategic asset under its Neo Crypto Bank initiative. The company launched the concept in October 2025. It aims to develop financial infrastructure for an economy where artificial intelligence agents can make payments and enter contracts.
Eole said the HYPE purchase does not focus only on possible capital gains. The company also linked the holding to its on-chain finance and Web3 operations.
Likewise, Eole said the position extends beyond routine fund management. It plans to use the asset as part of its broader business development.

Eole may generate revenue by lending digital assets. It also plans to hedge price risks through traditional financial markets. At the same time, the company will explore ways to connect its crypto holdings with its own services. How will Eole connect HYPE with those services as the Neo Crypto Bank strategy develops?
The company plans to move beyond a single cryptocurrency and create products focused on automated finance. Smart contracts will support that financial model.
Eole’s initial 1,078-HYPE purchase starts a planned ¥100 million allocation scheduled through August. The Tokyo-listed company will hold HYPE beside bitcoin while exploring digital asset lending, traditional market hedging, service integration, and smart contract-based finance.
