Casio has launched its Casiotone CT-FS1, a 61-key keyboard that adjusts notes to match songs through Feel Sync. The portable instrument debuted in the United States on November 2, 2026, with beginners as its primary audience. Its companion app analyzes selected tracks and keeps played notes within each song’s harmony, including during key changes.

Feel Sync shifts the learning focus toward rhythm, timing and musical expression rather than perfect note selection. Players connect the keyboard to Casio’s iOS or Android app through the included WU-BT10 Bluetooth adapter.

The app offers 70 songs and accepts MP3, WAV and AIFF files stored directly on mobile devices. However, the feature does not support songs played through streaming services.

After analyzing a track’s chords, melody and rhythm, the system adjusts notes as players perform. Casio says the technology can follow complex arrangements featuring changing keys and musical bridges. Players still control tempo, dynamics and note combinations, keeping timing central to every performance.

The keyboard also offers a split mode that creates two separate playing zones. Beginners can use Feel Sync on one side while experienced musicians perform standard notes on the other. This arrangement could support music lessons, casual duets and shared practice sessions at home.

Outside assisted play, the CT-FS1 works as a conventional keyboard with 61 full-size, touch-responsive keys. Casio includes 61 AiX tones, covering acoustic piano, electric piano, organs, strings and synthesizers. Stereo bass-reflex speakers deliver a surround effect, while Bluetooth audio and headphone connectivity support flexible listening.

The keyboard weighs 4.5 kilograms and runs on an AC adapter or six AA batteries. Casio offers Midnight Black and Alpine White editions, both featuring matching monochrome keys. The CT-FS1 costs USD 399.99 in the United States and Euro 399 across European markets.

Feel Sync makes familiar songs easier to play, although it cannot replace traditional music practice. Beginners can build timing and expression before switching to standard mode and developing independent keyboard skills.
