Brahma AI raised USD 150 million in fresh funding to expand its AI platform across sectors including media and entertainment, sports, healthcare and advertising. The round was led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management, with a USD 100 million investment. Brahma AI is now valued at around USD 2 billion. On Wednesday, September 23, Prime Focus Limited, the company that backed Brahma AI, announced this.

The funding gives the artificial intelligence company more room to build and grow its products for large businesses. The company already counts Warner Bros., the NBA, and Mayo Clinic among its global customers. It also works with partners such as Google, Hakuhodo and DNEG. Its platform combines AI tools for content management, visual creation, digital humans, voice and multilingual work.

Founder and CEO of Brahma AI stated its plans: “We are shortly launching interactive digital humans, we are building Brahma to be model agnostic, and we are taking our technology into entirely new use cases across sports, healthcare and advertising. We now have the firepower to invest aggressively in all of this, build out our presence in the Bay Area and significantly expand our global go-to-market organization.”

Brahma AI did not start from scratch. Its technology comes from the wider Prime Focus and DNEG ecosystem. The company also brought in technology from Metaphysic, which became part of Brahma through a merger in 2025. That deal valued Brahma at USD 1.43 billion at the time.

Brahma AI Moves Beyond Entertainment

Prime Focus is building Brahma as a separate AI business while keeping a large economic interest in it. The move gives the group a way to turn years of work in visual effects, content tools, and AI into a company with its own value.

The latest funding shows that Brahma AI is looking beyond films and VFX. Its focus now covers industries where large amounts of visual and digital content are created.

For Prime Focus, the strategy also creates a new path for its technology assets. Brahma can use that base to build products for businesses while keeping its roots in the media and creative world.
