Activision has released a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 update focused on Ranked Play problems reported during Season 3. The patch fixes matchmaking issues, skill rating tracking bugs, and several gameplay exploits affecting competitive matches.
Players had reported delayed SR updates, leaderboard syncing problems, and inconsistent matchmaking over the past few weeks. The latest update addresses these issues to improve match stability and progression tracking.
Developers also fixed a Search & Destroy bug that unintentionally restricted the VS Recon feature in Ranked Play.
The update includes several multiplayer and Zombies fixes. Treyarch patched an issue where Stim Shot recharge timings behaved incorrectly during Ranked matches. The studio also fixed glitches tied to Active Camo, weapon ammo exploits, and support equipment.
Zombies mode received fixes for GobbleGums and other gameplay-related bugs that surfaced after the Season 3 rollout.
Several interface problems have also been addressed. Players had encountered disappearing match information, broken menus, and visual bugs during post-match screens. According to the patch notes, menu navigation and UI responsiveness should now work more smoothly.

Competitive players had been vocal about Ranked Play problems across Reddit and Call of Duty forums. Many said technical issues and exploit abuse were affecting the overall multiplayer experience.
The latest patch does not add new maps or weapons, but it focuses on stabilising core gameplay systems before the next seasonal update. Activision has also hinted at more balancing changes and anti-cheat improvements in future patches. The update is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
