Bitcoin Price Outlook: Polymarket Sees 56% Chance of USD 70K Drop

Bitcoin price prediction markets signal further downside risks, with Polymarket traders assigning a 56% chance of BTC falling to USD 70,000 before 2027. Meanwhile, Kalshi traders favor a year-end price near USD 75,000, raising doubts about a recovery to USD 100,000.

Bitcoin price prediction markets are raising doubts about a recovery to USD 100,000 before the end of 2026. As of November 8, Polymarket traders placed the probability of Bitcoin falling to USD 70,000 at approximately 56%, compared with just 9% for a return to six figures.

Bitcoin traded near USD 75,750 on Sunday, according to CoinGecko, after declining approximately 2.6% over seven days. The cryptocurrency briefly climbed above USD 80,000 on November 4 before losing those gains, leaving traders focused on lower price targets.

Polymarket Traders Doubt Bitcoin Will Reach USD 100,000

Polymarket's year-end Bitcoin price market has attracted more than USD 82.8 million in trading volume. The platform shows a roughly 56% probability of Bitcoin touching USD 70,000 before January 2027. Meanwhile, traders assign approximately 30% to a decline toward USD 65,000 and 19% to USD 60,000.

However, expectations for a recovery remain lower. Bitcoin has about a 23% chance of reaching USD 90,000 and 13% of hitting USD 95,000. The probability falls to 9% for USD 100,000 and approximately 2% for USD 120,000.

These figures measure whether Bitcoin reaches specific prices before the December 31 deadline. They do not predict where the cryptocurrency will finish the year. Therefore, several price targets could occur within the same period.

Kalshi Traders Expect Bitcoin to Finish Near USD 75,000

Kalshi's year-end Bitcoin price market shows a similar concentration around current prices. The platform places approximately 18% probability on a closing price between USD 75,000 and USD 79,999. The USD 70,000 to USD 74,999 range follows at around 17%.

Meanwhile, the USD 80,000 to USD 84,999 bracket carries approximately 12.5%. The two leading ranges account for about 35% of implied probability, although traders continue to price outcomes above and below those levels.

Unlike Polymarket's price-target contracts, Kalshi's year-end market measures Bitcoin's final settlement price. It uses the CF Benchmarks Bitcoin Real Time Index, averaging 60 one-second readings immediately before midnight Eastern time on January 1, 2027.

Only one closing-price range can win. Consequently, Kalshi's figures cannot be directly compared with the probabilities of Bitcoin touching individual targets on Polymarket.

November Bitcoin Price Forecasts Point to Further Weakness

Short-term prediction markets also show doubts about an immediate recovery. Polymarket's November contracts assign approximately 60% probability to Bitcoin touching USD 72,500 before December. The chance of a decline toward USD 70,000 stands near 41%.

However, a recovery to USD 80,000 carries approximately 56% probability. Those odds fall to 23% for USD 85,000 and just 9% for USD 90,000, according to the platform's November market.

Kalshi's November contracts show comparable caution. Its downside market places the probability of Bitcoin falling below USD 72,500 above 60%, while its upside contracts assign approximately 35% to exceeding USD 82,500 and 22% to USD 85,000.

Bitcoin's immediate trading range also remains narrow. On November 8, CoinGecko recorded a 24-hour range of approximately USD 75,540 to USD 76,150, keeping prices below the USD 80,000 level reached earlier in November.

Prediction-market prices reflect traders' current positions rather than confirmed future outcomes. The November contracts expire on November 30, while the remaining 2026 price targets and year-end settlement markets continue through December 31.
