CBS has revealed the 14 contestants for Big Brother Season 28, which premieres July 9 with a 90-minute episode hosted by Julie Chen Moonves. The season, themed ‘Time Trip,’ also marks a milestone for the long-running reality series as it approaches its 1,000th episode.

The new set of contestants includes a diverse range of occupations, continuing the quest to combine ordinary people with extraordinary characters. These include a rocket scientist, an attorney, an MMA coach, a bartender, a finance analyst, a dentist, a telemedicine company CEO, and a pickleball coach.

Notable entrants include Jason DePuy, who previously competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars as Salina EsTitties, and Lyric Medeiros, daughter of pop singer Glenn Medeiros. The full cast list is Ashley Trail, Barrett Pfeiffer, Chuck Anyanwu, Drew Campbell, Haley Thogmartin, Jason DePuy, Kamu Kirk, LaTrice Verrett, Lyric Medeiros, Mallory Aurichio, Melody Morris, Rome Seymoure, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel.

CBS is giving out hints about further surprises to come post the first night, which continues the trend of introducing more or returning contestants after the first show has aired. The winner of season 28 of Big Brother will walk away with a grand prize of $750,000.
