Beats launched its latest flagship over-ear headphones, Beats 360, in India and global markets. Priced at Rs. 42,900, the new headphones feature interchangeable ear and headband cushions, active noise cancellation, personalized spatial audio, and up to 32 hours of battery life.
The headphones are available in Black, Cloud, Pink and Sky color options. Customers can also purchase additional cushion kits separately, giving them the option to change the headphones' color and material.
Beats 360 stand out with detachable cushions for both the ear cups and headband. The headphones come with color-matched Performance Knit cushions, while additional Performance Knit and UltraPlush kits are available in India for Rs. 6,900 each.
According to Beats, the cushions use memory foam for comfort, and the headphones can recognize the installed cushion configuration and adjust acoustic tuning accordingly. The design also folds flat and comes with a woven ripstop carrying case.
The Beats 360 are also the company's first over-ear headphones with an IPX4 rating, offering resistance against sweat and water splashes.
The new headphones feature Beats' latest active noise cancellation system, which the company says delivers up to 1.75 times more combined active and passive noise cancellation than the Beats Studio Pro. They also support Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ and personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.
Under the hood, Beats uses custom-designed drivers with dual neodymium magnets and a three-layer diaphragm. The headphones have nine microphones, including units used for noise cancellation and voice pickup, along with beam-forming technology aimed at improving call clarity.
Beats rates the 360 for up to 32 hours of listening time with ANC and personalized Spatial Audio enabled. A five-minute Fast Fuel charge can provide up to one hour of playback. Charging is handled through USB Type-C.
The headphones support Bluetooth 5.3 and work with both Apple and Android devices. Apple users get features including one-touch pairing, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, and Find My, while Android users get Fast Pair, Audio Switch, and Find Hub support.
Orders opened through Apple's website on September 22, while retail and in-store availability begins September 24. The Beats 360 are priced at Rs. 42,900 in India and USD 349.99 in the US.
