Shares of Artemis Medicare Services hit a fresh all-time high on Friday, September 25th, rising as much as 14% to Rs. 378.40 on the BSE. This move took the stock past its earlier high of Rs. 361.50, set on September 10.

The rally adds to a strong year for the hospital operator. Artemis Medicare has climbed close to 40% in 2026, while the Sensex has dropped around 12% in the same period. The stock has now recovered nearly 87% from its 52-week low of Rs. 202.85, touched in April.

Heavy Trading Drives the Rally

Volumes were high on Friday. Around 11:38 AM, the stock traded 10% higher at Rs. 365.55, even as the broader market stayed flat. Close to 12.75 million shares changed hands across the NSE and BSE, nearly 8% of the company's total equity.

Artemis Medicare runs more than 800 hospital beds, mostly across Delhi-NCR. Its main hospital in Gurugram has over 700 beds and holds both JCI and NABH accreditation. The company also runs a cardiac-care joint venture with Philips and has a base in Mauritius.

The Gurugram hospital keeps gaining from better bed use, higher earnings per bed, and steady demand for special treatments. A new hospital in Raipur, opened in July, adds another growth market. Patients from the Middle East, Africa, and the CIS region continue to add to demand.

Brokerage Sees More Room to Grow

InCred Equities has started coverage on the stock with a target price of Rs. 437. The brokerage sees revenue, EBITDA, and profit growing between 23% and 28% a year through FY28, helped by new beds from Raipur and the coming Gurgaon Tower IV project.

Artemis has also cleared a plan to raise up to Rs. 700 crore through a QIP, meant for future acquisitions. No deal has been named yet. With new capacity coming and funds ready for acquisitions, Artemis Medicare looks set to stay in focus in the coming months.
