Apple has recorded its highest-ever revenue in India for the September quarter of fiscal 2026. CEO John Ternus confirmed the achievement during the company's latest earnings call on Monday. He also highlighted a record number of customers upgrading their iPhones in India.
Ternus said, “We also set September quarter revenue records in both developed and emerging markets, in addition to an all-time record in India.”
The company also reported its highest number of iPhone upgraders for a September quarter in India. The trend was also seen in the US and mainland China.
Ternus added, “We also set a September quarter record for upgraders worldwide, as well as in the U.S., China Mainland and India, helping to deliver our best fiscal year ever for upgraders globally.”
Apple did not disclose its exact revenue from India. However, the company reported strong performance across its major product categories and services business. Globally, Apple generated USD 114.5 billion in revenue during the September quarter. This represented a 12% increase from the same period last year. Its worldwide iPhone revenue reached USD 57.6 billion, up 17% year-on-year.
Apple's Mac business also achieved its highest-ever revenue in India during the quarter. Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh said Mac recorded double-digit growth across developed and emerging markets. Global Mac revenue increased 24% to USD 10.8 billion. The performance received support from demand for the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro.
The Services business also reached a new revenue record in India. Globally, Services revenue grew 10% to USD 31.6 billion during the quarter. The segment includes offerings such as Apple Music, iCloud and the App Store.
Apple also highlighted the launch of Apple Pay in India through its partnership with Axis Bank. Ternus said, “Another good example of this, in India, we recently launched Apple Pay with Axis Bank, bringing the seamless, safe, secure way to pay to one of the biggest markets in the world.”
The latest results mark a strong quarter for Apple's Indian business as the company expands its product and services presence in the country.
