Anthropic has introduced Claude AI subscription options pricing tailored to India. Local pricing for Claude Pro, Max, and Team plans has been listed, with the entry-level Pro subscription starting at Rs 1,999 per month.
The update eliminates foreign exchange fees and international payments for Indian users. Additionally, Anthropic has verified that GST is included in the quoted prices and the free version will still be accessible.
The Claude Pro plan starts at Rs. 1,999 per month when invoiced annually. This leads to a total cost of Rs. 24,000. Customers who choose monthly billing will be charged Rs. 2,399 each month. Anthropic's Sonnet 5, Opus, and Fable 5 models are all included in the subscription.
Higher usage restrictions than the free tier, research mode, limitless projects, memory, online search, voice mode, file uploads, Claude Code, Claude Design, Microsoft 365 integration, and Excel and PowerPoint functionality are all provided to subscribers. Additionally, Anthropic has added two Claude Max tiers for those who need to employ AI more.
The monthly cost of the Claude Max 20x plan is Rs. 23,999, while the Claude Max 5x plan costs Rs. 11,999. Max customers have longer Claude Code sessions, priority access during periods of high demand, larger usage limits, and early access to new models and features in addition to all Pro capabilities.
Two Team plans have been launched by Anthropic for businesses operating in India. The monthly price of the Team Standard plan will be either Rs. 2,999 per user on a monthly basis or Rs. 2,399 per user on an annual basis. The price of the Team Premium plan will be either Rs. 14,999 per user per month on a monthly basis or Rs. 11,999 per user per month on an annual basis.

Context window of 200K, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, API usage credits, centralized billing, administration tools, single sign-on, domain capture, and admin controls are some of the features offered in the Team plans. It is also said that Anthropic’s AI models are not trained automatically on the client content of the Team account.
