Why is Python one of Elon Musk’s favorite programming languages?

Written By : Satavisa Pati

Elon Musk is not just a name but he is a brand in himself. He is one of the most motivating figures in technology. He has been involved in a lot of ambitious tech projects. Perhaps it would be an understatement to say that he owns businesses like SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, SolarCity, Hyperloop, and OpenAI. In a significant way, each of the firms he built affected every connected industry sector. There shouldn't be a shred of doubt that he was passionate about coding given the manner he supported artificial intelligence and cultivated it.

Elon started coding at a very young age. He taught himself BASIC at the very young age of 10, and that too in the days before the internet. At the age of 12, he created the video game BLASTER, sold the source code to a PC magazine for $500, and had it published. He holds two bachelor's degrees in physics and one in economics, but he prefers to get rid of both of them because he doesn't appear to have much faith in higher education. He was further driven towards programming and the technology industry by his internships in Silicon Valley, which helped him and his brother launch a software company. Since that time, there has been no turning back, and oddly, unlike any other high-profile executive, he freely shares his thoughts on programming languages on various online forums.

The Python programming language is well renowned for its adaptability and uses in technologies based on machine learning. Tesla, the emblematic example of Elon Musk's business and creative ability, runs on a Python-based operating system. Even if there aren't many reports circulating about it being obsolete for Tesla, it continues to be Elon Musk's favorite dialect.

Python language is one of the most accessible programming languages available because it has simplified syntax and is not complicated, which gives more emphasis on natural language. Due to its ease of learning and usage, python codes can be easily written and executed much faster than other programming languages. Python was created more than 30 years ago, which is a lot of time for any community of programming language to grow and mature adequately to support developers ranging from beginner to expert levels. There are plenty of documentation, guides, and Video Tutorials for Python language that are available that learners and developers of any skill level or age can use and receive the support required to enhance their knowledge of python programming language.
