Amitabh Bachchan's collections of 'Madhushala', which is the new NFT of the popular Bollywood star, which is autographed posters and collectibles, have received bids worth US$520,000 which are nearly INR 3.8 crore on Day 1 of the auction that was organized by Beyond life. Club. A venture between BeyondLife.club, Rhiti Entertainment, and GuardianLink.io, in August, had announced the rolling out of Bachchan's NFT or non-fungible token collection on the platform.
NFT is a unit of data that is stored on a digital ledger, which is called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and not interchangeable. NFT can be used to represent items such as videos, photos, and other types of digital files. According to a statement, Amitabh Bachchan's 'Madhushala' NFT collection has achieved the highest record bidding in India that is about US$420,000 on the first day of the auction.
Madhushala NFT is the poem collection of the actor's father that was recorded in the superstar's own voice. The auction also has seven autographed posters from his iconic movies and half a dozen collectibles of 'punks and NFTs art and Poster collection' which have received bids worth over US$100,000 on Day 1.
It is powered by Guardian Link, one of India's biggest decentralized branded marketspace for NFTs. Another interesting feature is that of the 'Loot Box' which is worth about US$10 each. The box offers 5,000 collectibles for which 300,000 crypto collectible fans have globally signed.
The co-founder and chairman of Guardian and co-founder of Beyonflife.The club said it was overwhelming on Day 1 and he is excited as the bidding numbers are still soaring on Day 2. He says that he is glad as the marketplace reaches new heights with Bachchan's NFT's.
