Google CEO Sundar Pichai is about to make India a leader in artificial intelligence innovation

Google for India event 2022 was held on December 19, 2022, in which the tech behemoth unveiled several of its plans to use artificial intelligence and uplift digital innovation in India. During this event, Google chief Sundar Pichai claimed that AI is more revolutionary than we can ever imagine and it will eventually replace humans! Besides this, Google also unveiled its new AI model that will let users understand handwritten prescriptions and help pharmacists digitize handwritten medical prescriptions. However, the most attractive part of the technology is that no choice will be made fully based on the advancements of AI and ML.

The company also disclosed its new search feature. Users will not be able to search for particular sections of YouTube video and the version of this feature is presently being tested by researchers. With the help of this feature, you will be able to search for a certain object, location, or moment within a YouTube video and save a lot of time since you will be able to look for the right thing within a very short period of time.

Besides this, Pichai also talked on #WomenWill where the company demonstrated how women-led startups are working in the field of AI. He majorly stressed the growth of AI's creativity and influence in the creative fields. As the excitement around 'generative models' has become quite impressive, innovation and development of generative artificial intelligence is dramatically growing. Furthermore, Pichai was asked during a conversation if he believed that AI can promote more equality or not, he stressed that artificial intelligence will act as an equalizer, giving the example of Google's Internet Saathi programme, which made smartphone and internet access easier for women residing in the rural parts of India.
