Getting Banned from Instagram and Twitter Doesn’t Phase Kayne!

After getting banned on Instagram and Twitter, Kanye moves ahead and buys Parler

American rapper Kanye West known as Ye has made a preliminary agreement to purchase Parler, a social media site favored by American conservatives. This offer comes after the musician's Instagram and Twitter accounts were suspended earlier this month because of posts that were deemed to be anti-Semitic by online users.

Kanye has announced that he is purchasing Parler, a right-wing social media app notorious for its low moderation standards and advertising itself as an "uncancellable free expression platform." The action comes a little more than a week after Twitter bans Kanye from accessing his Twitter and Instagram restricted West, who legally changed his name to Ye. After the artist made anti-Semitic remarks, both platforms responded. Parler's parent firm Parlement Technologies revealed the information. In the press statement, Parlement stated that it had reached an "in principle" agreement to sell Parler to Ye and anticipated coming to an "ultimate purchase agreement".

Ye's promise to purchase Parler is in retaliation to his being banned from more prominent platforms. Ye told Bloomberg that he thinks Parler is a platform for people like him who can't express themselves on other websites.

Ye stated in a statement, "We have to make sure we have the right to openly express ourselves in a world where conservative beliefs are thought to be contentious. Ye's action coincides with others, including Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who have used social media ownership to fight restrictions.

As a forum for self-described free speech, Parler was created in 2018. Conservative Americans in the United States who disagree with content restrictions on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter admire its hands-off approach to content regulation. Parler has been into difficulty with tech juggernauts due to its laxer restrictions. Apple Inc. and Alphabet's Google removed Parler from their app stores after the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of former president Donald Trump, claiming the firm had not taken necessary precautions to prevent posts inciting violence. Additionally, Amazon.com Inc. momentarily stopped hosting the site, putting it offline in the process.

George Farmer, the CEO of Parlement, actively contributes to the Brexit Party in Britain. Additionally, Farmer is wed to Candace Owens, a well-known Trump supporter, and conservative broadcaster.
