The GCO Data Protection Specialist will establish data security measures which will help SAP Global Cloud Operations (GCO) meet its compliance requirements. The job demands advanced knowledge of GDPR and data protection procedures and PET tools together with expert skills in Microsoft 365. The team member will develop compliance procedures and provide active organizational support while establishing awareness programs throughout the company.

Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO standards, SAP policies, and internal/external audits.
Implement data protection requirements and maintain Procedure Enrollment (PET) tools.
Coordinate strategic and operational data protection tasks across GCO.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Legal, Data Protection & Privacy Office, and subject matter experts.
Analyze use cases, prepare compliance reports, and present insights using Microsoft 365 tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages, Lists, Excel).
Drive process efficiency and transparency through reporting and dashboards.
Develop and deliver learning materials and awareness programs on data protection.
Maintain platform content (Wiki, SharePoint, MS Teams) and distribute updates/newsletters.
The position requires candidates to possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields.
More than five years of experience working with data protection procedures and implementing privacy-enhancing technology tools.
Demonstrates complete understanding of General Data Protection Regulation requirements together with privacy protection laws.
Advanced skills to operate all Microsoft 365 applications which include Teams SharePoint and OneDrive.
Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work without supervision.
Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational management skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and tools within a short timeframe.
