Intel is looking for a Data Scientist who specializes in Demand and Supply Planning to develop advanced analytics and machine learning systems that will optimize worldwide supply chain operations. The person will work together with enterprise planning departments to improve demand forecasting and supply planning performance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate  should know to use  Python, SQL and ML frameworks to create predictive models which will automate data pipelines and produce dashboards that support data-driven decision making and scalable supply chain solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create demand forecasting and supply optimization solutions through the development of predictive machine learning models. 

  • Conducting data wrangling and feature engineering while performing statistical analysis on extensive complex datasets. 

  • Use Blue Yonder and SAP enterprise demand planning solutions to enhance their operational systems. 

  • Developing interactive dashboards together with visualizations that provide real-time insights through Power BI and Tableau. 

  • Using advanced data science methods which include time-series forecasting and regression and classification and clustering and optimization algorithms. 

  • Using Scikit-learn and TensorFlow and PyTorch to create and test models which perform predictive analytics and scenario planning. 

  • Creating cloud-based automated pipelines which handle data ingestion and model training and deployment processes on Azure and AWS platforms. 

  • Working with different departments to gather project requirements and develop user stories and assist with user acceptance testing.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BTech/B.E/BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

  • More than five years of experience in implementing data science solutions for supply chain operations.

  • Proficiency in using Python R SQL with Snowflake and the Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn TensorFlow/PyTorch libraries.

  • Possesses advanced expertise in forecasting methods time-series analysis regression analysis classification techniques and clustering methods and optimization algorithm development.

  • Working with both large-scale data processing systems and distributed computing technologies.

  • Have practical experience using Power BI and Tableau for creating data visualizations and building interactive dashboards.

  • The person has experience working with Agile methodologies and tools which include Jira and Rally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Blue Yonder or equivalent planning applications (SAP, Kinaxis, O9).

  • Semiconductor/high-tech industry experience.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Snowflake) and data pipelines for analytics.
