Microsoft’s Scaled Solutions and Insights team is hiring a Data and Solution Manager in Bangalore. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering data products and insights that empower the Operations Service Center. The position requires agility, strategic thinking, and deep analytics expertise. With up to 50% remote work and collaboration across global teams, you’ll operate at the intersection of business transformation and data intelligence, impacting decision-making and operational excellence.
1. Business Understanding: Scope business problems, understand market and internal trends, and align data-driven solutions with Microsoft’s strategy.
2. Data Expertise: Identify and evaluate data sources, address quality issues, and design governed, secure pipelines in collaboration with data engineers.
3. Advanced Analytics: Lead complex analysis, create scalable citizen-developed automations, and deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions.
4. Insight Presentation: Build and guide impactful dashboards and reports tailored to senior stakeholders.
5. Evaluation and Impact: Design evaluations for business and operational initiatives, incorporating risk assessments and insights across functions.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster partnerships across teams, promote analytical standards, and share best practices.
7. Innovation and Efficiency: Champion automation and AI-driven efficiency improvements in analytics and data handling.

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Statistics, Finance, Math, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or Economics) AND at least 6 years of experience in: Data analysis and reporting, Business intelligence, or Business or financial analysis
OR
Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of experience in the same areas listed above
OR
Equivalent practical experience in the above fields
2. Must be available to work 50% of the time in Pacific Standard Time (PST)
3. Must work onsite in the Bangalore office 50% of the time
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of experience in: Data analysis and reporting, Business intelligence, or Business or financial analysis
OR
Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years of experience in the same areas

Equivalent experience in data-related or business intelligence roles
