Amazon's Generative AI group is in need of hiring an AI Content Expert II to help support the development of Amazon's LLMs. This contract position has a one-year term and creates, annotates and analyses a wide variety of training datasets that include text, images and video in order to develop Generative AI capabilities.
The AI Content Expert II position will work closely with engineers and scientists to ensure quality control of data collection processes, design of tools and define data annotation standards across all of the various types of data utilized to train LLMs.

Create and annotate complex multimodal datasets (text, image, video) with accuracy and consistency.
Write grammatically correct and contextually rich content across various domains.
Audit and perform quality checks on training data created by peers.
Collaborate with ML scientists to enhance data guidelines and tooling workflows.
Identify and report annotation or tooling issues while proposing improvements.
Manage ambiguity, exercise judgment, and ensure data integrity in every task.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
2+ years experience working with linguistically based datasets including annotation and markup.
Expertise in the English language both in writing and reading/comprehending. C1 or higher.
Research and synthesis abilities across a range of subjects.
Consistently maintain accuracy, consistency, and focus on projects while under pressure to meet short deadlines.
Previous experience producing training datasets for LLMs or generative AI models.
Familiarity with the markup and dataset formats including HTML, XML, JSON, Markdown.
Programmatic language experience such as Python or other Scripting Language(s).
Understanding of regular expressions and text preprocessing.
Experience working with annotation tasks which may involve sensitive or complex data.
