Plan, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for Wallet, Payments & Commerce products.
Provide data frameworks to facilitate automated domain-specific data and analytics workflows.
Leverage GenAI in data engineering workflows, applications, or internal data and analytics tools.
Improve ETL workflows for increasing data processing efficiency and reliability.
Support data integrity and performance within big data workflows and environments.
Build frameworks to enable test suites automation and foster data operations.
Build and deploy AI-powered assistants for developers, such as code suggestion bots, to aid in vulnerability discovery and policy enforcement.
Integrate data pipelines to MLOps to enable automation, feature engineering, retraining, monitoring, drift detection, and scalability.
Write technical specifications, instrumentation specifications, and API contracts.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Over four years of experience designing, developing, and deploying data engineering or analytics engineering solutions.
Proficient in SQL, Scala, Python, or Java, with experience in data pipeline tools (such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Airflow), CI/CD practices, and version control.
Familiarity with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data technologies, and data analytics tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Tableau.
Familiarity with RAG-LLM solutions, GenAI models, APIs, and prompt engineering.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins and GitHub Actions).
Strong analytic skills to optimize developer workflows.
Demonstrated experience in constructing and optimizing large-scale data flows, in addition to building tools and frameworks for data platforms.
Demonstrated experience working with big data technologies such as Trino, OLAP, NRT processing and/or Apache Mesh architecture.
Proven experience supporting ML pipelines with automated flow of data, feature engineering, retraining, monitoring, drift detection, scalability, etc.
General understanding of GenAI concepts like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, vector embeddings, LLM fine-tuning, etc.
General understanding of observability tools like DataDog, Prometheus and Grafana is preferred.
Experience building user journey workflow and test-suit automation.
General understanding of data governance, security protocols, and compliance.
Ability to work autonomously, escalate any blockers and propose thoughtful, long-term solution
