India's primary market is set for a busy week, with several initial public offerings (IPOs) scheduled to open or close for subscription. Paras Healthcare and Jio Platforms are among the issues attracting attention, while Core4 Engineers and BLS Polymers will add to the activity in the coming days.
However, strong investor interest does not guarantee listing gains. Subscription figures, valuation, market conditions, and responses from institutional and retail investors will be key factors in determining how these IPOs perform.
Both the Paras Healthcare and Jio Platforms IPOs are slated to open on October 21 and close on October 23, as per the information provided.
The price band for Paras Healthcare is Rs. 660-693 per equity share, with a face value of Rs. 1 per equity share. The total number of equity shares issued is 2,09,23,520 shares, which will generate approximately Rs. 1,450 crore. The IPO is to be listed on the BSE and NSE.
However, Jio Platforms' proposed issue is much larger, with an indicated issue size of approximately Rs. 30,213 crore. This issue comprises 27 crore equity shares, each with a face value of Rs. 10. Its price band is Rs. 1,065-1,119 per equity share. The issue will also be open from October 21-23 and will be listed on the BSE and NSE.
Core4 Engineers' IPO opens on October 23 and closes on October 27. The IPO includes 58,94,400 shares, and the total issue size may be up to Rs. 55 crore. The stock's face value is Rs. 10 per share, while the price band is set at Rs. 88-93. The issue is listed on the BSE SME segment.
BLS Polymers IPO opening and closing dates are October 27 and October 29. The company plans to offer 1.70 crore shares, with a total issue size of up to Rs. 255 crore. The IPO price band is Rs. 142-150 per share, and the face value is Rs. 10 per share.

Several IPOs are expected next week, and the outcome is still hard to predict. The outcome will depend on subscription trends, valuation, and overall market trends. Investors should read the companies' offer documents carefully, rather than rely only on expectations of listing gains.
