Zepto, an Indian quick commerce platform, has expanded its electronics portfolio with the introduction of Apple products for ultra-fast delivery: iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, AirPods, and accessories can now be ordered. This development pits Zepto against Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and BigBasket, which already do rapid delivery of Apple products.
With this addition, Zepto's overall electronics assortment has now crossed 5,000 SKUs, being offered for sale by different vendors on its platform. Zepto CEO Aadit Palicha disclosed while announcing the update that more than a million Apple product search queries were seen on the app in the past two months. "We listened!" he posted on LinkedIn, making the announcement official.
Among the products listed, the Apple iPhone 16 (256GB) is priced at Rs 86,724, and the iPhone 16 Plus (128GB) is priced at Rs 82,900. The recently released iPhone 16e is being sold at Rs 55,900 after a discount of Rs 4,000. Some other high-ticket spends include Apple iPad 10th Generation (Rs 32,999), AirPods 4 (Rs 10,999), and Apple Watch SE 44mm (Rs 25,900). Other available accessories include the Apple 20W USB Type-C charger and Apple Pencil 2nd Gen.
Abhimanyu Singh, business head-electronics at Zepto, said the rollout has improved accessibility to high-end technology. "Through our sellers going deeper into partnership with Apple, we are revolutionising this entire electronics shopping experience, making it faster, easier, and more seamless than ever before," he said.
With changing consumer behavioral preferences, quick commerce, and instant delivery, e-commerce has expanded beyond groceries to niche areas like fashion and now electronics for events that call for instant gratification. Zepto's newest endeavour stands testament to growing desires for instant access to luxury gadgets in India.
