Written By : Harpreet Singh Kapula

Four puzzles, 5-letter words, and 9 attempts! Quordle challenges players to solve word puzzles simultaneously, playing on a color system where green indicates an absolute match, yellow is a correct letter, but in the wrong position, and gray is a miss. Our daily hints provide strategic solutions to daily challenges.

What are Today's hints?

Letter Hints

Players only need to guess 4 letters to guess the correct word. Guessing the first and last letter is a good strategic start to solving Quordle.

Hint 1 (First Letter of the Word):

  • The first word starts with A (top-left).

  • The second word starts with M (top-right).

  • The third word starts with T (bottom-left).

  • The fourth word starts with S (bottom-right).

Hint 2 (Last Letter of the Word)

  • The first word ends with S (top-left).

  • The second word ends with L (top-right)

  • The third word ends with Y (bottom-left).

  • The fourth word ends with T (bottom-right).

Vowel Hints

Predicting words with vowels are the best hints in Quordle. They frequently appear in English words in a common pattern, such as CVC, consonant-vowel-consonant. For example, try "AWASH" and "RALPH" from the previous day's Quordle game. Simply select “Past Games” from the drop-down menu titled "Daily Classic", then select the Monday, March 12 game.

Today's vowel Hints:

  • 2 vowels are in the first word (top-left).

  • 2 vowels are in the second word (top-right).

  • 2 vowels are in the third word (bottom-left).

  • 1 vowel is in the fourth word (bottom-right).

Elimination Strategy

Repeating letters is best suited for an elimination strategy. When a letter appears twice, half of the word can be guessed with little difficulty. Employ this strategy to cut down chances for attempts with our skillful hints below.

  • 1 repeating vowel appears twice in the first word.

  • No repeating letter is in the second word.

  • No repeating letter is in the third word.

  • No repeating letter is in the fourth word.

Meaning Strategy

Meaning provides indication of what a word could be. It's one strategy where instead of guessing letters. An entire word puzzle is guessed.

  • First word (top-left): Something not right or out of place.

  • Second word (top-right): A solid material which is typically hard and shiny.

  • Third word (bottom-left): Consisting of tears or drops resembling tears.

  • Fourth word (bottom-right): Not long or tall.
