Prepare for a quadruple word adventure! Quordle tasks players with uncovering four five-letter words simultaneously within nine strategic moves. The intuitive feedback system guides your linguistic detective work—green tiles confirm perfect matches, yellow indicates correct letters needing repositioning, and gray reveals letters to eliminate from consideration.
When David Mah envisioned multiplying Wordle's challenge by four, he created the foundation for what would become Quordle. Developer Freddie Meyer refined this ambitious concept into a playable format, and dictionary authority Merriam-Webster eventually adopted the game, securing its position among popular daily word puzzles.

These strategy tips are designed to help with predicting words with a diverse range of strategies.
Predicting words with vowels is the best hint in Quordle. They frequently appear in English words in a common pattern, such as CVC, consonant-vowel-consonant. For example, try "ERECT" and "WORRY" from the previous day's Quordle game. Select "Past Games" from the "Daily Classic" drop-down menu, then select the April 1 game.
Repeating letters is best suited for an elimination strategy. When a letter appears twice, half of the word can be guessed with little difficulty. From the 30 March 2025 game:
Letter "E" helps with guessing the first, second and the fourth word
Letter “I” helps with guessing the first and the second word.
Solutions are up front. But before that, try to guess a word taken from the hint of the game played on 31 March 2025 - What you do before impact—or what straightens your teeth!
