Today’s NYT Strands Hints and Answer for 14 March 2025

Master NYT Strands with the latest tips to improve your game

Written By : Shiva Ganesh

Strands Puzzle is a modern twist on the classic word search format. Currently in beta, it will remain available only if enough players engage with it daily.

Each day, a new game of Strands will be released. You'll be presented with a six-by-eight grid of letters, and your goal is to identify a group of words that share a common theme, which will be provided as a clue. Once you discover a theme word, it will stay highlighted in blue.

To complete your task, you need to find a special word known as a spangram. This word indicates what the theme words have in common and connects two opposite sides of the board. While the theme words are not proper names, the spangram can be a proper name. Once you identify the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.

What Is Today’s Strands Hint?

Time to do the NYT hint and then my own hint after that:

And mine is:

What Are Today’s Strands Answers?

Now we begin the answer portion of the program, which is the spangram and the full list of the other answers. The spangram is:

CLASSIC PIES

Here it is on the page, but read on:

The answers are:

  • BLUEBERRY

  • PECAN

  • PEACH

  • PUMPKIN

  • CHERRY

Probably one of the most straightforward puzzles in a while. If there’s a pie you can think of that’s relatively common, it’s going to be on this list, as all the top ones fit easily.
