Complete List of Major PlayStation Plus Games for April 2025

Monsters, Memories, and Magic: April's PS Plus Is Straight Fire

Written By : K Akash

Sony has announced the list of PlayStation Plus games for April 2025, and there’s something here for just about everyone. Whether someone’s into shooters, horror games, RPGs, or just wants to chill with a co-op title, this month’s lineup delivers across all three PS Plus tiers — Essential, Extra, and Premium.

Essential Tier – Free Games

Every PlayStation Plus subscriber gets access to three games starting from the first day of the month:

RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5) – A first-person shooter where players take on the role of the half-man, half-machine cop. The setting looks straight out of an old-school action movie, and the game leans hard into the gritty feel of the original films.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4/PS5) – A horror game built for multiplayer, where one team plays as survivors and the other as the killers. It’s all about strategy, hiding, chasing, and that constant feeling that something bad is just around the corner.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker's Memory (PS4) – A turn-based RPG that drops players into a digital world filled with hundreds of Digimon to collect and train. This one's made for fans of old-school monster-collecting games but with a darker, more tech-driven story.

Extra and Premium Tiers – New Additions This Month

Those subscribed to the higher tiers will see a bigger batch of titles being added to the game library this April.

Blue Prince (PS5) – Launching April 10, this is a puzzle adventure set in a mansion where rooms keep changing. The goal is to make it to Room 46 before everything resets. The game has a strong indie vibe and should click with fans of brain-teasers and unusual stories.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2 (PS5) – Out April 15, this game follows a group of friends dealing with secrets from their teenage years. It’s heavy on story and built by the same studio behind the Life is Strange series, so expect emotional moments and lots of character-driven choices.

Hogwarts Legacy (PS4/PS5) – Set in the world of Harry Potter but way before the events of the books. Players create their own student, explore Hogwarts, learn spells, and dive into magical battles. It’s a big open-world game, perfect for anyone who's grown up dreaming of getting a letter from Hogwarts.

EA Sports PGA Tour (PS5) – A realistic golf game with well-known courses and pro-level gameplay. It’s one of those sports sims that takes time to master but is rewarding for anyone into competitive play or detailed controls.

Battlefield 1 (PS4) – A shooter based in World War I. The maps are huge, the action is chaotic, and there’s a mix of tanks, planes, and trenches. It's not the latest entry in the series, but it’s still one of the most popular because of its setting and game play.

PlateUp! (PS4/PS5) – A co-op game that feels like Overcooked mixed with Diner Dash. Players run a restaurant together, from cooking to serving and keeping customers happy. Things get wild fast — it’s chaotic in the best way.

Premium Tier – Classic Games Added

For those with a Premium subscription, two older games are being added this month:

Alone in the Dark 2 (PS1) – A survival horror title from the '90s. It has that old-school vibe with fixed camera angles and creepy atmosphere. Not for everyone, but fans of retro horror games might appreciate the nostalgia.

War of the Monsters (PS2) – A fighting game where giant monsters smash each other (and cities) to pieces. It’s simple, fun, and has that Saturday-afternoon monster movie feel.

Conclusion

PlayStation Plus is going strong this month with a mix of new releases, solid multiplayer options, and throwbacks for long-time fans. It’s a good time to update the library and try something fresh.
