The iPhone 17 Series is expected to launch in September 2025.
Major design changes include a slim body and a repositioned front camera.
Powered by the new A19 chip, the series will offer improved performance and camera upgrades.
A lot of people are excited about Apple's new iPhone 17 series, which is expected to come out in September 2025. Leaked information suggests that the style, speed and camera will all be drastically improved. This is a huge step forward for the tech company.
There are rumours that the iPhone 17 range will contain four different models:
iPhone 17
iPhone 17 Pro
iPhone 17 Pro Max (possibly rebranded as iPhone 17 Ultra)
iPhone 17 Air – the old Plus model will be replaced by a new ultra-thin version.
iPhone 17 Air: It should be Apple's smallest phone yet, coming in at between 5.5mm and 6mm. It could have a 6.6-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz ProMotion frame rate.
iPhone 17 and 17 Pro: The screens should be just slightly larger than the ones that came before them, and the Pro models might have a new camera bump and a back that is made of half aluminium and half glass.
Processor: The new A19 chip, which was made using a better 3nm process, is expected to run all models. It promises better speed and less energy use.
RAM: Pro and Air models may have 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB before. This will make it easier to switch between tasks and use AI on the device.
Charging: All of the phones in the line are expected to support 35W wired charging.
iPhone 17 Ultra (Pro Max): Supposed to have three 48MP cameras, one wide-angle lens, one ultra-wide lens, and one zoom lens. It will also be able to record 8K video.
iPhone 17 Air: The iPhone 17 Air is likely to have a single 48MP camera on the back, with AI improvements to make up for the lack of multiple lenses.
Front Camera: All of the phones in the series will likely have a new 24MP front-facing camera, which will make selfies and video calls better.
Launch Date: Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 17 series between September 11-13, 2025, consistent with its traditional fall release schedule.
iPhone 17: Expected to start at US$899 in the USA (INR 89,900).
iPhone 17 Air: Anticipated to be priced around US$999 (INR 99,900).
Pro and Ultra Models: Because of the more modern features and the possible effects of tariffs, prices may be higher.
With new designs, strong tech, and better camera systems, Apple's iPhone 17 series looks like it will be a big improvement in the market.
As the start date in September gets closer, more information will likely come out that will make things more clear.
