Venmo Allows Fiat-To-Crypto – How Will This Reflect on Bitcoin, Litecoin, & Dogetti?

Written By : IndustryTrends

Venmo, the mobile payment service, will start allowing its users to buy and send cryptocurrencies to other Venmo users or external wallets starting in May. This feature will allow Venmo users to buy and send cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. Can Dogetti (DETI) join the list? Read on, if you want to learn why we think that the answer is yes.

Venmo Adds Fiat-To-Crypto

Verified Venmo users will also be able to receive cryptocurrencies from external addresses through a "crypto address QR code." This move will provide more choices to Venmo users and serve as a use case for digital assets. Venmo started allowing crypto purchases in April 2021, and now, 13 months later they allowed fiat-to-crypto transactions to begin taking place on the platform. This development marks another milestone in the integration of cryptocurrencies into the mainstream financial sector, thereby providing greater scope for the expansion of digital currencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin.

Dogetti – Playing Ruff

Dogetti is an upcoming crypto project that is already more than a third of the way through its presale phase. Although it is still a diamond in the rough, it shows great potential because of its enticing features and widening community. Dogetti can credit previous memecoins for paving the way for it, despite Dogetti's similarities to Dogecoin for example. Dogetti puts its own twist on things. The mascots for example have got a lot more personality with their mafia-inspired style and backstory. Dogetti also gives back to the community in more ways than one; as a portion of every transaction goes to a charity wallet and gets donated to a charity chosen by popular vote, and another equal portion gets redistributed among the token holders as thank you for believing in its potential.

Bitcoin – Torch Bearer Crypto

Despite its flaws and all the recent innovation in the world of digital currencies, Bitcoin remains one of the most popular coins in the world. It was first introduced to the world by an anonymous party calling themselves Satoshi Nakamoto, and it used technology that was revolutionary at the time. In more recent years, however, crypto has evolved significantly. Bitcoin's PoW has fallen out of favor due to high energy usage and high CPU demands.

Litecoin – The Sliver Crypto

Charlie Lee, a former Google engineer, developed Litecoin in 2011 as a form of cryptocurrency. It is often called the "silver to Bitcoin's gold" and operates similarly to Bitcoin, with a few differences. Litecoin has a faster block generation time of 2.5 minutes, compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes, making transactions faster and more efficient. It uses a proof-of-work algorithm called Scrypt, which is less energy-intensive than Bitcoin's proof-of-work algorithm. Litecoin also has a higher maximum supply than Bitcoin, with 84 million coins compared to Bitcoin's 21 million tokens.

The spreading adoption of crypto and the growing ease of fiat-to-crypto transactions makes us think that this is the best time to be investing in crypto. Unfortunately for some, the barrier to entry for already established coins is a bit high, so they must invest in a relatively unknown but promising project such as Dogetti. Dogetti's focus is on creating communal and generational wealth, giving to charity, and diversifying and improving their services including their NFTs and DAOs.
