The Securities and Exchange Commission said in a court filing on Wednesday that it will submit an "interlocutory appeal" of a judge's verdict on Ripple's programmatic XRP sales.
The SEC stated that it was seeking "leave to" appeal a portion of a recent verdict while other aspects of the SEC's case were being tried. The SEC and the government may not require two trials if an interlocutory appeal is granted, according to the regulator.
