The ShibArmy anticipates several new updates on Shibarium, Shiba Inu's layer-2 solution, and Shiba games. Shytoshi Kusama's tweet has hyped up the SHIB holder community seeking updates on the status of Shibarium's development and the tentative launch date.
On June 24, 2022, the Unification Foundation announced in a blog post that the launch of Shibarium's beta phase is scheduled for the end of Q3 2022. Fifteen days ago, Kusama tweeted to the Shiba Inu community, assuring them that the development of projects was moving quite well on all fronts. Kusama disclosed that over the next few weeks, Shiba Inu holders will begin to see "the things we've been working on come to fruition at, what looks to be when Shib (and the world) needs it most."
Shytoshi Kusama used Twitter to show his interest in the latest technology and how he cannot wait to see his new neighbors. He wrote, "The #SHIB MV is coming #SHIBARMY! Lands are becoming available really soon and you can get in early by locking your $LEASH or SHIBOSHIS at http://Shib.io. (Wonder if you'll end up near my land?)."
The latest project by the much-followed meme coin will have 1,00,595 land plots, of which some will remain private. Though the plots will be released in a phased manner. The plots are divided into four categories, namely Silver Fur, Gold Tail, Platinum Paw, and Diamond Teeth, and priced between 0.2 to 1 ether (ETH). The neutral cryptocurrency has been fixed for land pricing to ensure no downside to Shiba Inu's native token. The metaverse will be developed in Shibarium, a layer 2 system for SHIB.
