As Justin Sun and more importantly, the future president, show their support for bringing more people into DeFi via World Liberty Finance, Cutoshi, a project with a similar aim, keeps gaining attention and selling tokens.
Cutoshi, for the unacquainted, is a meme and DeFi project rolled into one. The meme is from the Chinese Lucky Cat and aims to bring prosperity to its holders. Cutoshi is building a P2P cross-chain DEX, solving problems of interoperability to make crypto and Web3 easier for new users.
There will be a suite of other products too in the ecosystem, including a learning platform, options to provide liquidity, Lucky Cat NFTs with DeFi use cases and more.
The presale project and token have been gaining a lot of attention in the last few weeks, trending on two separate occasions in the top spot of X and raising over $1.1 million in funding.
Community support has been high and over 3500 people are taking part in a questing program that allows people to do tasks for an airdrop of $CUTO. Thousands of people are following on socials, 10k on X and over 5k on Telegram.
According to CoinMarketCap, 95% of voters feel bullish about the project.

The current stage of the presale has only 15% remaining, meaning that the price will soon increase. The first two stages have seen an increase in the price of CUTO of 72%.

Given all of this, what price could $CUTO reach? Although we don’t know what the final launch price of the token will be, we know it will be higher than the current price of $0.0259.
If the wider crypto community feels bullish about CUTO, as the evidence suggests, then this could cause a big price spike at the launch.
As momentum builds, the team will aim for a tier 1 CEX listing, which usually pushes prices much higher due to more people being able to buy the token.
If the project can reach the $1 mark then that’s already a profit of 3761%. In the short to medium term, it can then achieve the kind of fame that PEPE has achieved, which would put CUTO at a value of $18.36. (This figure is reached by valuing CUTO at the current PEPE market cap of $8 billion).
If we take it a step further and imagine that in the long term, CUTO replicates the success of Shiba Inu, (which is also a DeFi project disguised as a meme coin), the price could go to $33.78. This represents an impressive 130,325% increase.
