The crypto market saw major developments as spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 217 million in net inflows, while Strategy acquired 4,603 BTC for USD 369 million. Also, BitMine purchased 53,501 ETH and Strive Bought 1,800 BTC for USD 143 million.
According to SoSoValue, the Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded a total net inflow of USD 217 million yesterday. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the largest single-day net inflow was BlackRock's ETF IBIT, with a single-day net inflow of USD 206 million and its historical total net inflow standing at USD 63.571 billion.
This was followed by Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF BTC, with a single-day net inflow of USD 9.4165 million, and BTC's historical total net inflow has reached USD 2.867 billion.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the largest outflow was VanEck ETF HODL, with a single-day net outflow of USD 13.4134 million. HODL's historical total net inflow has reached USD 1.049 billion.
The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is USD 99.611 billion, with the ETF net asset ratio at 6.29%, and the historical cumulative net inflow has reached USD 54.847 billion.
Strategy has made its first Bitcoin purchase in two months, acquiring 4,603 BTC for USD 369.7 million at an average price of USD 80,318 per coin, according to a Monday morning press release from the company.
The purchase lifts Strategy’s total holdings to 845,050 BTC and ends a buying pause.
Strategy sold USD 602.8 million worth of common stock and used USD 369.7 million of those proceeds to buy the 4,603 BTC.
The remaining proceeds were split between USD 151.8 million used to repurchase the company’s STRC preferred stock and an addition to Strategy’s cash reserves.

Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC launched its new Global Card. Backed by the Visa network, this virtual card allows eligible users to pay directly with Tether (USDT).
The solution features immediate compatibility with Apple Pay and Google Pay, offering a tiered rewards program with up to 10% monthly cashback in USDT and access to an annual yield of up to 7% through the MEXC Earn flexible product.
This launch comes in response to historic growth in crypto asset payments, where monthly volume reached USD 759 million in July, driven primarily by stablecoins.
BitMine Immersion Technologies, in its latest treasury update, said that it held 5,901,112 ETH as of August 30, after buying 53,501 ETH last week.
Using the company’s reference price of USD 2,511, the Ethereum position was valued at approximately USD 14.82 billion when BitMine recorded the snapshot.
Management said its ETH balance accounted for about 4.9% of Ethereum’s reported supply of 120.7 million tokens.
At the time of writing, CoinGecko data showed Ethereum trading near USD 2,459.62, up 0.5% over 24 hours and 31.4% in the last 30 days.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Form 8-K filing, submitted on August 31, showed that Strive acquired 1,800 BTC between August 24 and August 28 at an average price of USD 79,431 per coin.
The transaction cost approximately USD 143 million. Strive ended the period with 23,156 BTC, up from 21,356 BTC one week earlier.
BitcoinTreasuries.net data placed the Dallas-based company ahead of crypto exchange Bullish, which holds 22,000 BTC. The new balance made Strive the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, behind Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet, and MARA Holdings.
