Hugging Face introduced a new chatbot, a ChatGPT alternative called HuggingChat. HuggingChat, an open-source ChatGPT alternative that anybody can use or download, has just been released, according to AI Startup Hugging Face, the machine learning community and AI tools platform. HuggingChat can perform many functions ChatGPT can, including writing programming, producing emails, and creating rap lyrics. It is accessible for testing through a web interface and may be integrated with pre-existing programs and services via Hugging Face's API.
To begin with, ChatGPT's interface is very similar to HuggingChat. But it has a straightforward homepage with the name and the brief statement, "Making the best open-source AI chat models available to everyone." HuggingChat displays prompt history, Theme, Feedback, and About & Privacy on the left panel like ChatGPT does.

GPT-3.5 API access is available through a paid membership plan from the corporation, however, GPT-4 API access is only accessible through a waitlist. But HuggingChat is an open-source technology created jointly by Hugging Face, its parent company. Users can access and alter the source code of an open-source project to enhance the platform and add new features.
