Gold continues to trade at historically high levels despite short-term fluctuations. In India, 24K gold remains above Rs. 15,000 per gram, while international spot gold is holding above USD 4,000 an ounce.

For buyers, the quoted retail rates should be treated as a reference rather than the final purchase price. Jewelry bills will also reflect purity, making charges, GST and other applicable costs. Global movements in the dollar, interest-rate expectations, inflation and geopolitical developments will remain important factors for gold prices in the coming sessions.
