Arvind Jain was born in Jaipur, India, where he grew up with an interest in computers. With help from his parents, Arvind went on to study computer science and received his Bachelor of Technology degree at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, and then he continued his education with a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington. With these educational qualifications under his belt, Arvind Jain was able to make several key advancements in AI and enterprise technology.
Prior to founding Rubrik in 2014, Arvind held various leadership positions, including at Microsoft and Akamai. Over 10 years of Arvind's career was spent at Google, where he managed engineering teams supporting Search, Maps, and Youtube. Arvind founded Glean in 2019, which is focused on utilizing AI technology to create a better way for companies to search for information in the workplace and increase productivity and ease of knowledge discovery across the enterprise.
