Hub.xyz (“Hub”) and PlayAI today announced a partnership to establish a decentralized data pipeline that converts MadRims vision data into high-integrity, structured assets for enterprise AI consumption, and to integrate Hub’s real-time data streams into PlayAI’s agentic workflows.
MadRims are AI-powered glasses built on top of the PlayAI Network, designed to make the physical world as clickable as the web. With a 12-megapixel camera featuring electronic image stabilization, dual open-ear speakers, snap-on shades, and a high-fidelity microphone for instant voice activation, the device converts natural language into executable tasks.
PlayAI will contribute MadRims vision datacollected via its decentralized networkinto Hub’s end-to-end processing system. Hub will perform data labeling and annotation so the datasets meet gold-standard requirements for training and evaluation. The processed datasets will be delivered through Hub’s multimodal data infrastructure as an AI-ready stream, creating a co-monetization path by offering verifiable frontier data for large-scale model training across AI, robotics, and other autonomous systems.
PlayAI will integrate its agent workflows with Hub’s low-latency data pipelines so agents act on fresh behavioral, financial, and threat signals. Hub’s frontier datasets will power category-specific intelligence, including finance (trading, pricing, sentiment) and news/situational awareness for aggregation, monitoring, and training.
Tim Sprecher, Co-founder & COO of Hub.xyz, said:
“Wearables are a powerful source of high-signal data. By bringing MadRims vision data into Hub and streaming it back out as structured, verifiable feeds, we’re delivering the rails enterprises need for next-gen AI and robotics.”
With Hub.xyz embedded, the lenses let users authenticate, automate tasks, and connect across digital ecosystems, bridging real-world interaction with intelligent automation. Identity verification and access control become ambient and continuous, preserving user sovereignty while reducing the cognitive overhead of switching between apps, wallets, and devices. It’s a step toward what both teams describe as “decentralized living,” where agency is portable, privacy-preserving, and instantly usable in the flow of daily life.
Ramees, Founder and CEO of PlayAI, said:
“PlayAI’s mission is to orchestrate crypto x AI. Integrating Hub’s real-time streams lets our agents act on fresh signals, while our MadRims network supplies frontier data that models actually need.”
Pre-orders for MadRims opened in September at $49 to reserve, with a full price of $249, and 1,000 Founder’s Editions were available. Early response from crypto-native users and developers has been strong, driven by the promise of hands-free dApps, ambient identity, and an open marketplace where builders are rewarded for utility. For PlayAI, the integration propels the firm toward its mission of becoming the “Zapier of on-chain AI,” where anyone can deploy a workflow with a single prompt and watch agents execute in the real world.
PlayAI is the programmable automation layer for AI and crypto, enabling anyone to build, deploy, and monetize intelligent on-chain workflows without code. By connecting AI agents, Model Context Protocols, data markets, and decentralized infrastructure, PlayAI powers the next generation of composable agent economies.
The first real-time, multimodal data infrastructure, leveraging the idle bandwidth of everyday users to power a distributed, end-to-end data pipeline for advanced AI systems and enterprises at scale. Headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
