With AI-powered smart compose, you can write faster and better with the help of machine learning

An AI-powered smart compose feature for Google Chat is coming to the web. The function, which is currently included in Gmail and Docs, provides pertinent term suggestions as you type, saving you time by minimizing repetitive writing and minimizing spelling and grammatical errors. In addition to English, Smart Compose for Google Chat is also available in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian. By July 11, it will be accessible to all internet users.

Simply begin composing a message in Google Chat to use Smart Compose. Smart Compose will provide pertinent term suggestions in the right-hand pane as you type. By pressing Tab or Enter, you can accept a recommendation; alternatively, you can disregard it and input your text.
By default, Smart Compose is on, but you may turn it off if you'd rather. Open Google Chat settings and uncheck the box next to "Enable Smart Compose" to accomplish this. Additional information regarding Smart Compose is provided below:

  • As it uses machine learning as its power source, it grows better with each use.
  • English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian are the available languages.
  • Although it is turned on by default, you can turn it off if you'd rather.
  • By minimizing repetitious writing and spelling and grammar issues, it can help you save time.
