Adobe is bringing high-end AI tools to students' reach with the newly launched Acrobat AI Assistant subscription plan.

It will start at just $1.99 per month or roughly Rs 166. The student-only plan offers a more than 60 percent discount from the standard version which will cost $4.99 per month, or roughly Rs 417. It is to help students do their work more efficiently.

Evolving Academic Productivity

First launched in April, the Acrobat AI Assistant is designed to increase productivity across desktop, web, and mobile platforms. This AI software, with features for streamlining academic endeavors, can summarize documents, produce intelligent citations, and make information that may sound difficult to digest into easy formats.

That would be a great advantage for any student who cannot easily cope with the length of a research paper, lecture notes, or other academic articles.

Italy recently began testing AI in schools to bridge the gap in digital skills with its fellow EU countries. So, this news couldn't have come at a more opportune time. Education Minister Giuseppe Valditara said AI-assisted software will be tested in 15 classrooms in four regions, with more extensive implementation planned if it works.

Faster Document Processing

The AI Assistant is very good with handling file formats in mixed forms and runs within PDFs, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.

Then, it summarizes all of this information in one comprehensive summary, which makes the students' lives easier when dealing with unorganized data for their academic work. Plus, the File Conversation feature on Adobe makes the process easily manageable without the hassle of manually formatting conversions.

Future Features

Adobe is developing a two-way voice interaction, with the ability to let students speak to the AI Assistant and interact with it. This will integrate learning sessions into the daily routine of students in a much more fluid and interactive way than the existing support tools.
