How to Turn Off Autocorrect on iPhone?

Open the Settings App: Locate and tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone's home screen. It usually looks like a gear.

Navigate to General: Within the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the "General" option and tap on it.

Select Keyboard Settings: In the General menu, locate and tap "Keyboard." This section controls all your typing preferences.

Find Auto-Correction Toggle: Under the "All Keyboards" section, you'll see a list of toggles. Look for "Auto-Correction."

Toggle Off Auto-Correction: Tap the toggle switch next to "Auto-Correction" to turn it off. The switch will turn gray when disabled.

Consider Predictive Text: While not autocorrect, "Predictive Text" (which suggests words above the keyboard) often causes similar annoyance.

Toggle Off Predictive Text (Optional): If you also want to stop word suggestions, find "Predictive" or "Predictive Text" and toggle it off.

Disable Check Spelling (Optional): To remove red underlines for misspelled words, toggle off "Check Spelling" in the same Keyboard settings.

Confirm Changes: Your iPhone will now cease automatically correcting your typing. The changes are saved instantly.
