Google has launched the Wallet app in India, offering payment support but not online payments using debit/credit cards or UPI.
The app is available only on the Google Play Store and will not be available on Apple iOS devices.
Google Pay remains the leading platform for digital payments in India, making it difficult for users to use the Wallet app on their iPhones.
The app includes features like saving tickets, accessing boarding passes, redeeming loyalty cards, and using public transport.
Google has not revealed plans to bring an iOS app for Google Wallet.
