Fitbit Air: Google Confirms October India Launch

Fitbit Air: Google has confirmed that its first screenless fitness tracker will launch in India during October 2026, expanding its wearable lineup.

India Launch: The company confirmed the October India launch during its Pixel 11 event, following the device's earlier announcement in May this year.

Screenless Design: Fitbit Air uses a lightweight wrist strap without a display, allowing users to track health information without constantly checking screens.

Lightweight Build: The tracker weighs just 12 grams with its band attached, making it designed for comfortable, continuous wear throughout everyday activities.

Health Tracking: The Fitbit Air continuously monitors heart rate, sleep stages, Sleep Scores, and heart rate variability to provide users with detailed health information.

Workout Recognition: The wearable automatically tracks workouts and recognizes more than 140 activities, including walking, running, cycling, rowing, and various gym exercises.

Sleep Features: Smart Wake can wake users during a suitable point in their sleep cycle, while sleep tracking provides additional information about rest.

Google Health: Fitbit Air will work with the redesigned Google Health app, which replaces Fitbit and carries over users' historical health data.

Expected Price: Google has not announced India's price, while Fitbit Air costs $99 in America, approximately Rs 9,450 based on the current conversion.
