SEC Approves Ethereum ETFs, Crypto Gains Momentum

Shiva Ganesh

The SEC has approved multiple Ethereum ETFs, signaling a significant step forward for cryptocurrency investments .

The approval is expected to bring an influx of $15-$45 billion in institutional capital into the Ethereum market within a year.

Applications from industry giants like BlackRock and Fidelity were among the eight spot Ethereum ETFs given the green light.

Ethereum's price may rally significantly, potentially more than Bitcoin did following its ETF approval.

The approved ETFs will be based on the ongoing price of ether, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain, rather than futures contracts.
