Hyundai’s Answer To Tata Is Finally Here!: Hyundai is gearing up to strengthen its SUV lineup with the new Bayon. A red unit has reportedly reached a dealership ahead of its India launch, bringing fresh competition to the country's popular SUV market.

New Hyundai Bayon Spotted At Dealership: The Hyundai Bayon measures around 4.2 metres in length and will sit between the Venue and Creta. With its larger dimensions and crossover-inspired styling, the new SUV aims to attract buyers looking for something different in Hyundai’s lineup.

Bookings Open For Rs 11,000: Interested buyers can reportedly reserve the Hyundai Bayon with a booking amount of Rs 11,000. According to MotorOctane, the SUV is expected to launch on October 26, 2026, with deliveries anticipated around Diwali.

Sharp Design With Connected LED DRLs: The Bayon gets slim H-Edge LED daytime running lights connected by a black strip. A wide front grille, sculpted bonnet and sporty bumper with silver inserts give the SUV a distinctive road presence.

Sporty Rear Design And Alloy Wheels: Angular wheel arches, geometric alloy wheels and roof rails add character to the side profile. At the rear, the black strip across the tailgate, BAYON lettering and roof spoiler give the SUV a modern appearance.

Dual 12.3-Inch Screens Inside The Cabin: One of the biggest highlights is the dual-screen dashboard featuring two 12.3-inch displays. Hyundai has also retained physical shortcut buttons and rotary controls, offering convenient access to key functions while driving.

Sunroof, ADAS And More Features Expected: The Bayon is expected to offer premium features such as a sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, a head-up display and Level 2 ADAS.

Creta’s 1.5-Litre Petrol Engine: Hyundai has confirmed a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque.

Could The Hyundai Bayon Get A CNG Option?: Reports suggest Hyundai could also offer a factory-fitted CNG version. If introduced, it could appeal to buyers looking for lower running costs, although the CNG powertrain has not been officially confirmed.
